Special Olympics teamed up with Parsons School of Design to create the first-ever course focused on designing inclusive athletic wear. Parsons students worked closely with Special Olympics athletes to create apparel designed to fit their unique athletic needs and styles.

The problem? Outside of Parsons, no one was paying attention. We were tasked to help raise awareness of this revolutionary course, and ultimately save a program with the potential to change the future of fashion. We set out to launch this Special Olympic Athletic apparel like the hottest new fashion line, treating it with all the reverence that an iconic collab gets at a New York Fashion Week.

Michael Jordan and Nike had Air Jordans. Kanye and Adidas had Yeezys.
